  1. Up in the thugs' hotel room, you think you hear noises in the hallway outside.
  2. It sounds like Bert, Pete, and Sam arguing. Before you can act, the three thugs
  3. barge in, momentarily startled by your presence. Suddenly, confusion.
  4.  
  5. The shaky Sam faints dead away, and visibly (and audibly) annoyed, Pete lunges
  6. for you with a nasty razor-sharp knife. You skillfully dodge his assault, and
  7. he tumbles headlong into a teakwood nightstand, shattering a lamp in the
  8. process. He snores peacefully on the floor, out cold.
  9.  
  10. "Just you and me," you say to Bert, never before feeling more like a secret
  11. agent. "Just you and me." You draw your trusty weapon and move slowly toward
  12. Bert, who seems to be looking for a way to escape. He backs away, fearfully
  13. looking you up and down. You decide to toy with him.
  14.  
  15. "Hey, bud, uh...I...I..." he mutters, "...hey, this is our room...I hope...uh."
  16. Grinning, you continue to back the frightened thug toward the wall. Suddenly
  17. you notice that you are no longer looking at the thug, but at the littered
  18. floor, and your head feels vaguely like you have tripped. Damn! you think to
  19. yourself as Bert laughs, draws a weapon, and finishes you off.

  21. "He should of listened to us in da bar," are the last words you hear...
